Sonakshi starts shooting for Tamil film Lingaa with Rajnikanth
Sonakshi Sinha started shooting with southern megastar Rajinikanth for her debut Tamil film ‘Lingaa’ in Mysore on Friday. Sonakshi Sinha was very excited for the opportunity to star with Southern superstar, she said, “Very few people in the industry get an opportunity to do a film with Rajinikanth. If I had to make a debut in South, it had to be something as big as this. I can’t wait to begin shooting for him in May.”
The inaugral shot of the movie was shot at Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore on Friday in the presence of film’s lead actor Rajinikanth and writer of the film K. S. Ravi Kumar. Popular Kannada film actor Ambareesh, his wife Sumalatha, and Ravikumar were also among those present at the ‘muhurat pooja’, the sources revealed.
