Taraji P. Henson covered up in a green belted suit while promoting her new film The Best of Enemies at the Regal Atlantic Station in Atlanta on Wednesday.
The Oscar nominee - rocking black pumps - was joined at the special screening and moderated Q&A by her producer Dominique Telson.
The D.C.-born bride-to-be looked sleek thanks to her loyal glam squad - stylist Jason Bolden, hairstylist Tymothe Wallace, and make-up artist Ashunta Sheriff. The Georgia event also reunited Taraji with her 15-year-old onscreen son Jahi Di'Allo Winston from last year's crime thriller Proud Mary.
Henson plays North Carolina civil rights activist Ann Atwater in Robin Bissell's 1971-set school integration drama The Best of Enemies, which hits US theaters April 5. The Howard University grad reluctantly commented on her onscreen Empire son Jussie Smollett, who pleaded not guilty a week ago to 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly staging a hate crime on himself January 29.
When asked directly by Extra on Sunday about the troubled 36-year-old's scandal and his character Jamal Lyon being written off, Taraji stated: 'Um, you just have to say strong and you have to stay positive, full of hope.'
